National-Level Shooter Reports Sexual Harassment on Public Bus in Indore: Driver and Conductor Flee Scene

The bus driver and conductor fled the scene when the woman raised an alarm about the incident.

A national-level shooter became the center of a late-night incident in Indore on Tuesday when she accused a bus conductor of inappropriate touching. The allegation created chaos and panic, culminating in a dramatic situation on the city's streets.

According to police sources, the shooter was returning home after participating in a national championship in Bhopal. She boarded a private bus bound for Pune via Indore. During the journey between Bhopal and Indore, she alleged that the conductor "inappropriately touched" her while checking her ticket and seat assignment.

The situation escalated when the bus was stopped during routine night patrol in Indore's Rajendra Nagar area. The shooter immediately alerted authorities about the conductor's misconduct. In a surprising turn of events, both the driver and conductor abandoned the bus and escaped, leaving numerous passengers stranded well after midnight.

Law enforcement officials had to quickly arrange replacement staff to ensure the passengers could continue their journey.

"The bus arrived in Indore around 1:30 am. Following the disturbance, we provided assistance to the passengers and arranged for an alternative driver and conductor. When requested to provide a written complaint, the woman shooter indicated she would consult with her family and legal counsel in Maharashtra before formally filing it," explained Additional DCP (Crime Branch) Rajesh Dandotiya.

Currently, no formal complaint has been registered with Indore Police.

After approximately 90 minutes of delay, the bus resumed its journey around 3:15 am.

This incident occurs less than a month after two Australian women cricketers, who were in Indore for ICC Women's ODI World Cup matches, were allegedly stalked and molested in broad daylight by a local offender named Aqeel, who was apprehended the following day.
