Tej Pratap Yadav has publicly supported his sister Rohini Acharya following her allegations of mistreatment within the RJD family. He has called for an official investigation into potential mental harassment of their parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, while condemning those he terms as 'Jaichands' or traitors within the party structure. The dispute reveals deep divisions within Bihar's most prominent political family after recent electoral setbacks.

Tej Pratap Seeks Probe If Parents Were Subjected To 'Mental Harassment'

Tej Pratap Yadav has called upon Prime Minister Modi and Bihar government to initiate an investigation into potential mental harassment of his parents.

Patna:

RJD leader Lalu Prasad's eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav has publicly supported his sister Rohini Acharya following her allegations of mistreatment by their brother Tejashwi Yadav and his associate Sanjay Yadav. On Tuesday, he urged both central and state authorities to investigate whether his parents have experienced any form of mental harassment.

The former Bihar minister, who recently lost his electoral bid for the Mahua assembly seat, expressed solidarity with his sister through a post on X, attributing the family crisis to 'Jaichand' - a term symbolizing betrayal.

In his appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Bihar government, he requested an investigation into allegations that certain individuals are subjecting his parents Lalu Prasad and his mother to psychological and physical stress.

"Reports suggest that certain individuals, whom I call Jaichands, are attempting to place my parents Lalu Prasad ji and my mother under mental and physical duress. If there is any truth to these claims, it constitutes not merely an attack on my family but a direct assault on the very essence of the RJD," he stated in a social media post from his Janshakti Janta Dal account.

"I formally request the Prime Minister, Amit Shah ji, and Bihar's government to conduct an impartial, thorough, and immediate investigation into this matter," he added.

He further alleged irregularities in ticket distribution, including exchanging tickets for money, and criticized sycophantic politics that has marginalized dedicated party builders.

These same traitorous elements, motivated by greed and flattery, are now destroying both the family structure and the organization, according to Tej Pratap.

"My father's health is already compromised, and he cannot endure such pressure. I also request that if anyone has mistreated, physically assaulted, verbally abused, or inflicted mental/physical harm upon my sister, mother, or father, then individuals like Sanjay Yadav, Rameez Nemat Khan, and Pritam Yadav should be immediately charged and formal complaints registered against them," he wrote.

In a separate post, Yadav declared, "I will not accept any insult toward our sister under any circumstances... Traitors must face consequences for their actions... they will be held accountable." "The treatment Rohini didi experienced has deeply affected me. While I endured personal affronts, I cannot tolerate this disrespect toward my sister. It's completely unacceptable," Yadav emphasized.

"I must warn these betrayers... If they continue targeting our family, the people of Bihar will never forgive them," he concluded.

On Sunday, Acharya alleged she had been "verbally abused" and accused of receiving "crores of rupees and a party ticket" in exchange for the "filthy kidney" she donated to her ailing father.

After claiming she had been "forced out" of her parents' residence by supporters of her younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, the 47-year-old shared disturbing details about events at their home following the party's poor performance in the Bihar assembly elections.

In several posts on X, Acharya claimed, "I was subjected to vulgar language," and "accused of having donated my impure kidney to my father" in return for "millions of rupees and a party nomination."

Acharya, who donated a kidney to Prasad several years ago and unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections from Saran last year, expressed regret about her sacrifice to save her father's life "without seeking approval from my husband and in-laws or considering the welfare of my three children."

In a veiled criticism of Tejashwi Yadav and Sanjay Yadav, she remarked, "May no married woman with a brother ever make such a sacrifice. Instead, they should ask their brother to donate his own kidney or seek one from a Haryanvi friend."
