Al Falah Students Split Between Going Home And Staying For Exams Amid Probe

The Al Falah University administration is attempting to maintain normal operations despite ongoing investigation.

Faridabad:

Students and faculty at Al Falah University are experiencing considerable anxiety and uncertainty as the institution finds itself at the center of investigations into an alleged "white collar" terror module, according to sources who spoke on Monday.

With examination period currently underway, many students and staff members feel compelled to remain on campus despite the tense atmosphere surrounding the investigation.

Sources indicate that university administrators are making efforts to continue regular academic activities and keep residence halls functioning normally. However, some students have opted to return to their homes amid the ongoing probe.

One MBBS student, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that while most students continue to stay on campus and attend classes, the academic environment has become largely perfunctory.

Earlier today, Delhi Police issued dual summons to Al Falah University chairman Javed Ahmad Siddiqui in connection with the Faridabad terror module investigation and separate cases alleging forgery and cheating involving the university.

Investigators determined Siddiqui's testimony is essential to address several discrepancies related to university operations and activities of individuals associated with the institution.

According to police sources, summoning Siddiqui is part of a broader investigation that intersects with inquiries into the explosion near Red Fort last week.

Several suspects connected to the blast are believed to have associations with Al Falah University, prompting investigators to examine institutional documentation, financial records, and administrative decisions.
