Will Hunt Down Culprits Of Delhi Blast Even From Depths Of Hell: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has vowed that the investigation into the deadly blast near Delhi's Red Fort will be comprehensive and relentless.

New Delhi:

In a powerful statement on Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared that those responsible for the fatal explosion near Delhi's Red Fort would be tracked down "even from hell" and face the harshest legal consequences.

The death toll from the November 10 car blast has now risen to 15 after two more victims succumbed to their injuries at Delhi's LNJP Hospital.

Shah's resolute comments came during the 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council (NZC).

The Home Minister emphasized that the government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, remains steadfast in its commitment to eradicating terrorism completely. He assured that the Delhi blast investigation would be exhaustive and unyielding.

Shah stated firmly that the perpetrators "will be traced even from 'Patal (hell)', brought before the country's judicial system, and given the strictest possible punishment."

The explosion in Delhi has prompted an extensive investigation involving multiple security agencies.

Before commencing the meeting, attendees paid tributes to the victims of both the car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort and the blast at the Nowgam Police Station in Jammu and Kashmir.

A two-minute silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives.

"Zonal Councils are extremely important for dialogue, cooperation, coordination, and 'policy synergy'. Many types of problems have been resolved through these councils," Shah noted during the meeting.
