An electric MG vehicle caught fire due to suspected overheating at Hyderabad's NTR Stadium, spreading to a nearby Swift car. Three fire tenders from different stations responded promptly to control the blaze, preventing casualties while both vehicles sustained significant damage in the incident.

Fire Breaks Out From Electric Car In Hyderabad, Spreads To Nearby Vehicle

A fire incident involving an electric vehicle occurred at NTR Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday afternoon. The flames subsequently spread to another vehicle parked nearby. Fire officials quickly dispatched three fire tenders to the location, successfully containing the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the fire department representative, "An electric car that was parked at the stadium caught fire this afternoon, with the flames extending to an adjacent Swift vehicle. Fire engines from Musheerabad, Gandhi Hospital, and Robotic units were deployed to the scene and effectively managed to extinguish the fire."

The official further explained, "The electric MG vehicle suffered complete damage from the fire, while the neighboring car also sustained significant damage. No casualties resulted from the incident. Initial assessment suggests overheating as the probable cause of the fire."
