Tej Pratap Yadav Defends Sister Rohini Acharya Amid Family Feud in RJD Politics

Tej Pratap Yadav, the estranged son of Lalu Yadav, has made powerful statements regarding his sister Rohini Acharya's shocking allegations against their family.

Acharya had cut ties with the family, reportedly after being blamed for the RJD's significant defeat in state elections.

She claimed that someone had raised a slipper at her in a show of disrespect.

"I endured what happened to me. However, the disrespect shown to my sister is completely intolerable under any circumstances," Tej Pratap declared in an online statement, referencing his own expulsion from the family and party by his father, Lalu Yadav.

Acharya departed for Singapore after accusing her family of mistreatment. Tej Pratap mentioned that this incident has deeply affected him and cautioned that Bihar's citizens would not forgive those attacking his family.

"Since learning about slippers being raised against my sister Rohini, my heartache has transformed into rage. When public sentiments are wounded, clarity of thought emerges. These few individuals have also clouded Tejaswi's judgment," stated the alienated older brother of Tejashwi Yadav.

He warned of serious repercussions and requested his father's permission to defend the family's honor.

"The aftermath of this injustice will be extremely severe. Time's judgment is harsh. I appeal to the respected RJD National President and my father, my political mentor, Shri Lalu Prasad Ji—Father, give me your approval... just one signal, and Bihar's people will themselves bury these traitors. This conflict isn't about any political party—it concerns family honor, a daughter's dignity, and Bihar's self-respect," he asserted.

Tej Pratap was disowned by Lalu Yadav and removed from the RJD for "irresponsible" behavior in May, following his social media admission about being "in a relationship." He later claimed his account had been compromised.

Acharya has identified RJD leader Sanjay Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav's close associate Rameez Khan as responsible for the family discord. She claimed that at their urging, she abandoned politics and left her parents' home.

In another emotional post today, she alleged experiencing humiliation, with sources indicating that her public outburst followed a disagreement with her younger brother Tejashwi Yadav regarding the party's election performance. Acharya, who donated a kidney to her father in 2022, also claimed family members accused her of purchasing an election ticket in exchange for a "dirty kidney."
