CCTV footage obtained by investigators reveals that the white Hyundai i20 involved in the explosion near Red Fort was previously parked at Al Falah University in Faridabad.

The vehicle, driven by Umar Mohammad (also known as Umar Nabi) during the blast incident, was captured entering Al Falah University's main gate on October 29.

According to the footage, the car departed from the campus at 2:41 pm on October 30.

Al Falah University has come under scrutiny as part of the expanding multi-agency investigation into the Red Fort explosion that has claimed 13 lives so far, as well as activities of individuals connected to the institution.

The Crime Branch has filed two FIRs against the university on charges of cheating and forgery following regulatory violations reported by both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

These actions were taken after both statutory bodies highlighted "major irregularities" in the university's operations.

On Saturday, police visited the university's Okhla office seeking information about persons under investigation.

The explosion of the white Hyundai i20 occurred Monday at a parking lot near Red Fort, injuring 20 people. The blast was powerful enough to damage several nearby vehicles and caused immediate chaos as bystanders rushed to assist the wounded.

The explosion happened hours after authorities arrested eight individuals, including three doctors, and seized 2,900 kg of explosives while dismantling a "white collar" terror network involving Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind across Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

Mohammad, born in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir in 1989, worked as a doctor at Al Falah University. Two other former doctors connected to the university, Muzammil Ganaie and Shaheen Sayeed, have also been arrested. Investigators recovered 360 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from the college premises.

Sources indicate that Mohammad was allegedly in communication with Ganaie.

To reconstruct events leading to the explosion, investigators have compiled a detailed inventory of all vehicles that entered the parking area where the car remained stationed for three hours before detonating.
