Wolf pugmarks were discovered near a river approximately 1 km from the village. Search operations utilizing drones, expert trackers and professional shooters had been ongoing.

Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ram Singh Yadav stated that around 4:30 pm on Saturday, a wolf was detected during a search operation in Lodhanpurwa village.
