I extend my appreciation to Aaquib Wani for designing this jersey in partnership with our community. Recognized on the AIMS Global Marathon Event List, the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon continues to uphold its social mission of honoring India's armed forces.

This year's event will commence at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park, with routes passing through Ahmedabad's iconic landmarks including Atal Bridge, Gandhi Ashram, and Ellis Bridge. Scheduled for November 30, participants can choose from four categories: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km, and 5 km runs.

Organized by the Adani Group, the marathon symbolizes solidarity with India's courageous armed forces. Inaugurated in November 2017, it celebrated its fifth edition in November 2021. Runners particularly appreciate its picturesque route, widely regarded as one of the world's most beautiful marathon courses.

The initial two editions attracted nearly 20,000 participants, while the third and fourth editions saw slightly reduced attendance with over 17,000 runners. Following COVID-19, the Ahmedabad Marathon pioneered the return to physical events by implementing innovative time-slot systems that enabled more than 8,000 runners to participate across two days in 2021 while adhering to safety protocols.

In 2022, the marathon achieved international recognition by being included in the 'Global Marathon Event List - AIMS World Running', becoming Ahmedabad's sole race featured on this prestigious international roster. By 2024, over 20,000 participants had joined the #Run4OurSoldiers event, demonstrating widespread support for India's armed forces.

The "#Run4OurSoldiers" campaign remains the event's distinctive highlight, providing participants a meaningful opportunity to honor the nation's soldiers. Last year's event saw participation from over 3,000 defence personnel. The majority of proceeds are allocated to supporting armed forces welfare initiatives.
