Bengaluru Man Stabbed By Ex-Employee, Runs Away Only To Be Attacked Again

Amar Narayanaswamy, who operates a Ganesh idol manufacturing business, was violently attacked by Jayanth, who had briefly worked at his factory for just three days in June 2025.

According to police reports, Jayanth approached Narayanaswamy with information about a Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) site supposedly available for purchase and invited him to view the property.

Trusting his former employee, Narayanaswamy agreed to inspect the location and accompanied Jayanth in his Thar jeep to Sulekere BDA Layout, where they viewed two vacant plots.

During their return journey, Jayanth, who was seated in the back, suddenly attempted to grab the gold chain from Narayanaswamy's neck. When Narayanaswamy resisted the theft, Jayanth allegedly attacked him with a knife, inflicting serious wounds to his neck, face, shoulder, forehead, and head.

In a desperate bid to survive, Narayanaswamy managed to escape from the jeep and ran toward the road, where he climbed onto the back of a passing Tata Ace vehicle. However, his escape was short-lived as Jayanth pursued him, pulled him from the vehicle, and stabbed him again in the back before forcibly taking his gold chain.

The assailant then fled the crime scene on a black Pulsar motorcycle.

Authorities have filed multiple charges against Jayanth, including attempted murder, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and making caste-based remarks. Police have launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the accused.
