BJP-led NDA Secures Decisive Victory in 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has secured a commanding victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, crossing the majority mark of 122 seats within hours of counting. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari attributes the success to public confidence in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi's leadership, while also addressing key development initiatives for Bihar including flood management and industrial growth to combat migration.

As counting progressed through the day in the 2025 Bihar Assembly election, early trends indicated a decisive mandate favoring the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The coalition, which includes Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United), established a commanding lead across the state and appeared headed for one of its strongest performances in two decades.

The NDA surpassed the majority threshold of 122 seats within hours after counting began and continued expanding its lead. Commenting on the clear results, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that the scale of the mandate demonstrated public confidence in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"From morning, the numbers kept rising. This shows the people's trust," he remarked. Tiwari, who campaigned across 78 constituencies, discussed development initiatives he observed firsthand, including road improvements, canal works, and local industry expansion.

When questioned about the opposition's difficulties, Tiwari suggested the Mahagathbandhan had "lost the plot" early in their campaign. He criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's comments regarding former party strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin and accused Congress of alienating voters during the Chhath festival.

Tiwari referenced a campaign song he performed during the election that he claimed resonated widely with Bihar voters: "Hum kalakar hain jo mitti ko sona bana dete hain. Haan, hum Bihari hain (We are artists who turn mud into gold. Yes, we are Biharis)," he stated.

The conversation later shifted to policy matters, including recurring floods in Mithilanchal and the persistent issue of migration. Tiwari mentioned that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had already committed to resolving the flood problem within a year.

Regarding migration, he noted that labor shortages were now evident in several states, including Punjab, and argued that increased infrastructure and industrial development would generate more opportunities within Bihar. "This time, every district will have a factory. That is our resolve," he declared.
