Mumbai:
A horrifying incident has been reported from Jalna district in Maharashtra, where a woman collaborated with her brother-in-law to murder her husband. The deceased was identified as Parameshwar Ram Tayde, who lived in Somthana village in Jalna.
The murder was discovered when Tayde's unidentified body was found on Thursday morning, wrapped in a sack floating in the Wala-Somthana pond.
Police officials arrived at the location and documented the witness statement report, known as a "panchnama." Following a complaint filed by Tayde's father, Ram Natha, authorities registered a murder case.
As investigators began looking into the case, they questioned Tayde's wife Manisha and his younger brother Gyaneshwar. Both initially avoided direct answers, but under sustained questioning, they eventually admitted to killing Tayde.
The police promptly arrested both Manisha and Gyaneshwar for the crime.
During their confession, it was revealed that Manisha and Gyaneshwar were involved in an extramarital relationship, and they viewed Tayde as an obstacle to their affair. This motivation led them to devise a plan to eliminate him. The pair executed their plan by attacking Tayde with an axe, striking him on the head and face.
After confirming Tayde was dead, Manisha and Gyaneshwar placed his body in a sack, secured it with rope, and disposed of it in the Wala-Somthana pond. They also placed stones in the pond to prevent the body from surfacing.
