The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had previously initiated an investigation into the Delhi blast.

Financial investigation agencies began their inquiries after discovering that at least four doctors from the university were connected to the explosion that occurred in the center of the national capital on Monday evening. The incident resulted in at least 13 fatalities and approximately two dozen injuries when a Hyundai i20 car exploded in slow-moving traffic near the Red Fort on November 11.

Investigators have discovered incriminating materials in Dr. Muzammil Shakeel's room at the university. These include diaries belonging to two doctors containing coded messages, along with various electronic devices.

It has been revealed that the terror suspects held clandestine meetings in Dr. Muzammil's university room to discuss their terror strategies. They also allegedly misappropriated chemicals from the university laboratory for bomb manufacturing purposes.

The university administration has stated they have "no connection" with the suspects detained regarding the blast.
