Enhanced Security at Nepal Border Following Delhi Blast as Suspects May Attempt Escape

Officials have not yet determined the exact number of individuals involved in the Delhi blast incident.

Security agencies conducting a nationwide search for those responsible for the Delhi blasts are maintaining vigilant surveillance along the Nepal border. Intelligence agencies have indicated that suspects may attempt to escape India through this permeable boundary.

According to these agencies, the perpetrators might plan to exit India via Nepal before entering Pakistan. This route was commonly utilized by Indian Mujahideen operatives during that terror organization's active period.

Authorities report uncertainty regarding the number of people involved in the blasts. Individuals arrested during the Faridabad module operation are being interrogated for additional information. While they haven't provided significant details yet, agencies remain confident that valuable intelligence will eventually emerge.

Residents along the Nepal border have been instructed to immediately report any suspicious activities. An official noted that the accused would make every effort to leave India. Border inspections have intensified, with all movements being closely monitored, according to officials.

Simultaneously, operations have commenced in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, targeting overground workers supporting terror group revival. The Faridabad module was reportedly operated by Jaish-e-Mohammad, with substantial support coming from Jammu and Kashmir.

One individual, Maulvi Irfan Ahmed, is believed to have conducted a radicalization campaign, recruiting most members into the module. Intelligence agencies assert that the Delhi blast is directly connected to the Faridabad module.

This marks a shift in terrorism strategy, with attention returning to India's heartland. Jaish-e-Mohammad deliberately made this change as operations in Jammu and Kashmir have become increasingly difficult.

Following the Pahalgam attack, security in Jammu and Kashmir has reached unprecedented levels, creating operational challenges for terror organizations. The current raids in the region also focus on residences of Jamaat-e-Islami activists.

Information about potential suspects and handlers is being provided to police by Ahmed. Jamaat members are under scrutiny because of their known collaborations with Pakistan-based terror groups. The organization gained momentum in Bangladesh after Sheikh Hasina's removal, since when Jamaat has been working closely with ISI to revive terror groups targeting India.

Multiple agencies are currently investigating this case. The investigation scope has expanded due to the incident's magnitude. Beyond the blast itself, agencies are pursuing a significant module created to execute multiple attacks throughout India.

The extensive quantity of explosive materials seized from module members indicates the scale of their planned attacks.

Additionally, a forensic team revisited the blast site to gather further evidence. They collected two cartridges, including one live ammunition, and samples of two different explosive types. In total, 40 samples from the blast site are undergoing examination.
