Shocking Gun Attack: 35 Rounds Fired at IT Professional's Home in Punjab's Mohali

In a disturbing incident captured on CCTV, two unidentified men on a motorcycle fired 35 rounds at the residence and vehicles of an IT professional in Mohali, Punjab. The homeowner, Maninder Singh, claims to have no enemies or prior threats, leaving authorities puzzled as they investigate this seemingly random act of violence near a local police station.

A family has been left frightened and puzzled after two men on a motorcycle stopped in front of their house in Punjab's Mohali and fired 35 rounds at their residence and at least two vehicles parked outside.

CCTV footage reveals the two men halting before a house in Mohali's Phase 7, near the local police station, during the early hours of Friday. The footage shows them drawing two pistols and initially firing several rounds at the house. Subsequently, one of the men fires into the air and at cars parked near the residence.

Although no one sustained injuries during the attack, the vehicles were severely damaged, with some windows shattered and at least one windshield perforated with multiple bullet holes.

The homeowner, Maninder Singh, stated that he is employed at an IT company and has no understanding of why he was targeted. He mentioned having no enmity with anyone, and neither he nor any family member received threats or extortion demands either before or after the shooting incident.

The house owner, a technology professional, reiterated that he harbors no animosity towards anyone and has not received any threats.

Police have reported recovering 35 bullet casings from the scene and are currently investigating the motive behind the targeting of this family.
