Headless Female Body Discovered in Noida Sector Drain: Police Launch Investigation

Police have initiated an investigation into a disturbing discovery in Noida.

The headless and naked body of a woman was discovered floating in a drain in an upscale area of Noida, according to police reports.

This morning, the remains were found in a drainage canal in Sector 108, with both the head and palms missing from the body.

Authorities have not yet been able to establish the woman's identity due to the condition of the remains.

Investigators believe the victim was likely murdered elsewhere, dismembered, and then the decapitated body was disposed of in the Sector 108 location.

Upon notification, officers promptly arrived at the scene and transported the remains to a hospital for post-mortem examination, according to officials from the Sector 39 Police Station.

In an official statement, police confirmed: "Today on 06.11.2025, information was received about the body of an unidentified woman being found in a drain near Sector-82 Noida cut. Acting immediately on the information received, the local police reached the spot and the body was taken out of the drain."

The statement further indicated that efforts to identify the deceased woman are ongoing, with "other legal action also being taken."

Authorities have assembled a special team to investigate the case and plan to examine CCTV footage from the surrounding area for potential leads in this investigation.
