A case has been filed under applicable legal provisions following a successful raid operation.

Visakhapatnam authorities have disrupted an illicit operation at a local wellness establishment. The Visakhapatnam City Police's Task Force, collaborating with 3rd Town police officers, executed a strategic raid on a well-known wellness facility near VIP Road. This operation resulted in the apprehension of two spa management personnel and one patron, all facing charges related to operating an unauthorized prostitution network disguised as legitimate massage services.

The enforcement action at Orchid Wellness & Spa Centre occurred at approximately 6:30 PM on November 4. This intervention followed reliable intelligence indicating the establishment was conducting illegal activities while violating governmental regulations.

Upon entry to the premises, law enforcement personnel detained two individuals attempting to escape. The suspects were subsequently identified as Kalluru Pavan Kumar (36) and Jana Srinivas (35), both serving in administrative capacities at the center.

During questioning, the detainees acknowledged that beneath the facade of a properly licensed spa enterprise operated by owners Kasireddy Arun Kumar and Rahul, they were directing female employees via WhatsApp communications to provide sexual services to clients in exchange for monetary compensation. The investigation revealed that approximately Rs 3,000 was being collected from individual customers for these unauthorized services.

As officers conducted a thorough examination of the facility's rooms, they discovered one male client, identified as Cheeli Ramachandra Prasad (43), in the company of a female employee. A total of nine victimized women were identified on the premises and subsequently placed under police protection.

Authorities secured significant evidentiary materials during the operation, including Rs 7,000 in cash and three mobile devices (specifically an iPhone 13, a Nothing Phone, and a Samsung device).

Legal proceedings have been initiated under relevant statutory provisions. The primary proprietors, Kasireddy Arun Kumar and Rahul, have been formally named as accused parties in the ongoing investigation, with police actively pursuing their whereabouts for apprehension.

The detained individuals, comprising the two managers and one customer, remain in custody while the Visakhapatnam City Police continue their comprehensive investigation to determine the complete scope of this organized criminal network.
