Bengaluru:

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has announced a significant price increase for Nandini ghee, raising it by Rs 90 per litre on Wednesday. The new price now stands at Rs 700 per litre.

KMF officials explained that this price adjustment was necessary due to rising prices in the international market.

"Even globally, demand is pushing prices up. Our ghee rates remain among the lowest, and this revision is necessary to align with global market trends and maintain economic viability." The officials noted that following the recent reduction in GST slabs, Nandini ghee prices had previously decreased from Rs 640 per litre to Rs 610 per litre.
