Tragic Outcome of Marital Discord: Couple Found Dead After Fatal Confrontation in Jharkhand

In a tragic incident in Jharkhand's Deoghar district, a married couple lost their lives following a violent altercation stemming from marital discord on Wednesday, according to police reports.

The deceased individuals have been identified as 30-year-old Ravi Sharma and his 24-year-old wife Lovely Sharma. Their bodies were discovered inside their rented accommodation located in the Belabagan area of Deoghar town.

"Based on our initial investigation, it appears that the couple engaged in a fatal confrontation on Tuesday night due to ongoing marital issues. Both bodies display wounds inflicted by a sharp object. A knife was recovered from the scene," stated Rajeev Kumar, the officer-in-charge at Town police station.

Kumar added that the exact cause of the deaths can only be confirmed following a comprehensive investigation. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

According to officials, Ravi Sharma originated from Siwan in Bihar, while his wife Lovely was from the June Pokhar region in Deoghar.
