Akhilesh Yadav's Sharp Response to Yogi Adityanath's 'Three Monkeys' Jibe in Bihar Election Campaign

Amid Bihar's heated election campaign, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav delivered a scathing comeback to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's 'Appu, Pappu and Tappu' jibe against opposition leaders. This exchange highlights intensifying political rhetoric as the NDA alliance and Mahagathbandhan coalition compete in the upcoming two-phase Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for early November.

Won't Identify If He Sat With Monkeys: Akhilesh Yadav Jabs Yogi Adityanath

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has delivered a sharp response to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's 'three monkeys' comment directed at opposition leaders.

In his pointed retort, Yadav claimed that if Adityanath were placed among a group of monkeys, he would be indistinguishable. "The BJP is invoking Gandhiji's three monkeys as a distraction from crucial issues. The reality is that if he were seated among monkeys, neither you nor I would be able to recognize him," Yadav remarked during his campaign activities for the Bihar elections.

This exchange follows Adityanath's biting criticism of opposition figures including RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Congress's Rahul Gandhi, and Akhilesh Yadav himself. At a Muzaffarpur rally, Adityanath stated, "You're familiar with Gandhiji's three monkeys who avoid evil in speech, hearing, and sight. However, these three monkeys—Appu, Pappu, and Tappu—intend to deceive Bihar's citizens and reinstate jungle raj."

Adityanath asserted that during RJD's governance in Bihar, crimes including murder and robbery reached unprecedented levels. "Today, Bihar is progressing under Nitish Kumar's leadership. Employment opportunities are abundant, and the NDA administration will continue advancing development across all sectors. Appu, Pappu, and Tappu aim to create caste divisions and reintroduce mafia control. Remember not to be divided. If divided, you will suffer. Support NDA again."

Bihar is preparing for a significant Assembly election, with initial polling scheduled for tomorrow and the second phase on November 11. Results will be announced on November 14. The electoral contest features the incumbent NDA alliance (comprising JDU, BJP, Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party, and Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha) against the Mahagathbandhan coalition (including RJD, Congress, Left parties, and Mukesh Sahani's Vikassheel Insaan Party).
