Teenage Student Abducted and Assaulted While Returning From School in Assam's Tinsukia District

The villagers and relatives of the victim gathered at the police station demanding justice for the young girl.

A female student was reportedly sexually assaulted by three individuals in Tinsukia district of Assam, an incident that has ignited community outrage and calls for swift law enforcement action.

The alleged assault occurred on Monday afternoon as the girl was making her way home from school.

According to local reports, the victim was traveling home at approximately 3:00 pm when she was abducted by three perpetrators. They allegedly transported her to a secluded area within a tea plantation. The girl was subsequently discovered unconscious in the tea garden.

"The victim was on her return journey from school around 3:00 pm. Three young men on a motorcycle abducted the girl, took her to a tea garden area, and allegedly committed sexual assault," reported a family member of the victim. "We discovered the girl in the tea plantation in a severely distressed condition. We immediately brought her to Bordubi police station, after which she was transferred to a medical facility for treatment."

Local residents and family members of the victim assembled at the Bordubi police station demanding justice for the young girl.

Assam Police officials have confirmed the reported sexual assault incident, and the victim's family has filed an official complaint at the Bordubi police station. While investigations are currently underway, law enforcement has not yet apprehended any suspects.
