Mohan Yadav Claims Opponents 'Dug Up His Helipad' In Bihar, Officials Deny

The administration in both Patna and Madhepura districts has refuted the allegation made by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

In Patna on Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stirred controversy by asserting that "opponents of the ruling NDA had dug up the helipad and road" leading to one of his campaign rallies in Bihar where elections are underway.

During his public address, the prominent BJP leader made these remarks and subsequently shared video footage on his X platform account, though he did not specify the exact location of the alleged incident.

"Upon my arrival, I was informed that our opponents, fearful of the NDA's impending victory, had sabotaged the helipad and road. Nevertheless, I remained resolute and proceeded to the venue despite potential personal risk," stated Yadav.

The Chief Minister's schedule that day included conducting a road show in Patna, delivering a speech at a rally in Maner near the city, and holding another campaign event in Madhepura district.

However, administrative officials from both Patna and Madhepura districts have categorically denied any such occurrence.

In conversation with PTI, Patna District Magistrate Thyagarajan S M clarified, "We have received no information whatsoever about such an incident. In fact, officials from the relevant areas have not reported anything of this nature."

Sharing similar sentiments, Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya Sharma informed PTI, "No incident of this kind has been brought to my attention."

When approached for comment, Madhepura District Magistrate Taranjot Singh told PTI, "Nothing of this sort occurred in Madhepura during his public meeting on Monday. Extensive security arrangements were implemented for his public address in Madhepura."
