In Patna, BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda introduced the concept of 'HIRA' (diamond in Hindi) during his Tuesday address, emphasizing the remarkable infrastructure development achieved in Bihar under NDA governance, particularly highlighting advancements in highways, internet connectivity, railways, and airport facilities.

Speaking at a rally in Bhojpur district on the final campaign day before the first phase of assembly elections, Nadda characterized the opposition RJD party as synonymous with "extortion," "lawlessness," and "intimidation."

"Bihar residents likely remember the 'Lathi tel pilawan' rally organized by RJD president Lalu Prasad during his peak years. This served as a clear warning to his critics that they would be safer remaining confined to their homes. Voters must remain cautious of this party that attempts to attract support through promises while fundamentally remaining unchanged beneath new appearances," Nadda cautioned.

He called upon voters to "bestow their support on the NDA and ensure Chief Minister Nitish Kumar continues in leadership."

"Under the BJP-led coalition, Bihar has discovered 'HIRA' - where H represents highways, I stands for internet, R signifies Railways, and A denotes airports. Citizens can confirm the significant improvements in these areas over the past two decades," the BJP president explained.

Nadda further highlighted the Narendra Modi administration's efforts toward rapid poverty reduction, stating that "more than three crore people in Bihar alone have been elevated from conditions of deprivation."

He noted that disadvantaged populations were receiving substantial assistance through various programs such as free food rations benefiting "over eight crore people in Bihar" and complimentary cooking gas cylinders provided to "approximately two crore women" through the Ujjwala Yojana initiative.

Following his speech, the BJP president conducted a roadshow in Gayaji, a central Bihar pilgrimage destination that has remained a party stronghold for decades.

Nadda was joined by state minister Prem Kumar, who is seeking re-election from the Gaya Town constituency for an unprecedented eighth consecutive term.

Numerous BJP supporters accompanied the open vehicle procession, with many utilizing umbrellas for protection against light rainfall.

The roadshow concluded just thirty minutes before the official end of campaigning for the first phase of assembly elections, in which 121 constituencies will vote on November 6.
