Reality TV Dancer Killed When Truck Crashes Into His Parked Vehicle on Bengaluru Highway

A 36-year-old dancer with appearances in several television reality shows lost his life in a tragic accident when a truck collided with him while he was examining his new vehicle on the roadside.

The incident occurred in Bengaluru as Sudheendra had just purchased a new Maruti Suzuki Eeco and was traveling from Bengaluru to Tyamagondlu in Bengaluru Rural district to showcase the vehicle to his brother on Tuesday. Upon noticing a mechanical issue, he pulled over to the side of the highway near Pemmanahalli in Nelamangala taluk.

Footage captured at the scene shows Sudheendra's car parked on the highway shoulder with him standing beside it as a truck approaches in the distance. For unexplained reasons, the truck begins drifting toward the parked vehicle. Although Sudheendra appears to notice the oncoming truck, he seems momentarily paralyzed. The truck strikes him with significant force, crushing him between the two vehicles before veering left in what seems to be a belated evasive maneuver.

The truck eventually slows and stops with Sudheendra lying on the road behind it. He succumbed to his injuries immediately at the scene.

According to officials from the Dabaspete police station, the truck driver fled the accident site but was apprehended hours later. "The driver has claimed he fell asleep at the wheel. We are currently investigating this statement," an official reported.
