A devastating collision on the Hyderabad-Bijapur Highway Monday morning claimed 19 lives, leaving numerous families grief-stricken. Among the bereaved is Yellaiah Goud, a driver who lost his three daughters - Tanusha, Sai Priya and Nandini - all college students in Hyderabad.

The family had recently celebrated the wedding of their eldest daughter, Anusha. The three sisters had visited home over the weekend to attend a wedding ceremony in Tandur.

"I had urged them not to come, but their mother insisted. Last night, they wanted to return to Hyderabad. We advised them against traveling on Sunday and suggested leaving early Monday morning instead. While dropping them at the bus stop, someone warned me, 'The bus isn't in good condition. Why are you sending them?' But I still sent them. Now I've lost not one but three daughters. What will I do now?" he lamented in anguish.
