Father Carries Ailing Daughter Through Traffic Jam After Ambulance Gets Stuck in Deoria, UP

A video has emerged showing a man carrying his daughter in his arms after their ambulance became trapped in a severe traffic congestion in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district.

Swaminath, who lives in Salempur within Deoria district, was urgently transporting his 20-year-old sick daughter, Pinky Kumari, to the hospital via ambulance for medical care. While en route, their ambulance became immobilized in a marketplace traffic jam.

When his daughter's health deteriorated, Swaminath grew concerned and decided to physically carry her through the traffic.

The footage shows Swaminath holding Pinky while carefully moving through small spaces between vehicles. Another individual walks ahead of him, attempting to create a path for Swaminath to proceed. Traffic appears completely stopped as the three navigate through narrow gaps.

Swaminath had to walk a short distance before finding an autorickshaw beyond the traffic that assisted him in reaching the hospital.

Reports indicate that traffic congestion is common in this location, often resulting from local merchants allegedly parking their vehicles disorganizedly, significantly restricting traffic flow.
