ACC Ltd Reports 500% Increase in Profit to Rs 1,119 Crore: Q2 Financial Results Analysis

Cement Maker ACC Net Profit Jumps 5 Times At Rs 1,119 Crore

Consolidated revenue from operations in the September quarter reached Rs 5,896.16 crore, showing significant growth.

ACC Ltd, a prominent cement manufacturer, reported an extraordinary increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the September quarter, reaching Rs 1,119.26 crore, driven by robust sales performance.

This represents more than a five-fold jump compared to the consolidated net profit of Rs 199.7 crore recorded during the same period in the previous fiscal year, according to the company's regulatory filing.

The consolidated revenue from operations for the September quarter stood at an impressive Rs 5,896.16 crore, marking a substantial increase from Rs 4,542.23 crore reported in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.

Total expenses for the quarter under review amounted to Rs 5,393.42 crore, up from Rs 4,473.67 crore recorded in the same quarter a year ago.

During this second quarter, the cement and ancillary services segment generated revenue of Rs 5,519.18 crore, showing significant growth from Rs 4,373.41 crore in the year-ago period, as stated in the filing.

The ready-mix concrete segment also demonstrated strong performance, posting revenue of Rs 453.62 crore compared to Rs 289.1 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
