A violent confrontation erupted in Maharashtra's Beed when a family dispute over agricultural land escalated dramatically. Relatives forcibly entered a home and brutally attacked a family with sticks and rods. The victim, Vasudev Vikram Andhale, claims his relatives physically assaulted him and his three children—one son and two daughters. According to Andhale, one daughter was even poisoned during the attack. He has expressed frustration over what he describes as police inaction in the matter.

The land dispute between Andhale and his relatives has been ongoing for approximately two years. Despite filing a police complaint previously, Andhale reports he faced pressure to withdraw his case.

According to Andhale's account, his cousins invaded his residence and threatened his life if he refused to drop the case. These threats quickly escalated into physical violence targeting both him and his children.

"They knocked me and my eldest son unconscious. They also knocked one of my daughters unconscious and poisoned the other one," Andhale recounted.

Footage of the incident shows Andhale's daughters attempting to protect their father and brother, only to be pursued and severely beaten themselves.

"Villagers took us to the hospital for treatment. When we came to, we learnt that one of my daughters was poisoned and is battling for her life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)," stated Andhale.

Andhale has accused local law enforcement of dismissing his pleas for justice, suggesting this treatment stems from his relatives' wealth and influence.

"The police are not listening to us. I have also appealed for justice to the Beed Superintendent of Police. I want justice," he emphasized.
