Environmental experts note, "Flamingo arrivals provide strong indication that Thoothukudi's ecosystem maintains its health. Their presence clearly signals ecological equilibrium."
Tourism activities also experience increased interest during this period. Annually, from October's end through March, the flamingo migration to Thoothukudi has become an anticipated natural occurrence.
Fundamentally, the vision of flamingos adorning Thoothukudi's coastline represents not only a stunning natural display but also serves as a powerful reminder regarding environmental conservation's importance and living harmoniously with nature.
