According to sources, SATS is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Police officials confirmed that the bus was not transporting any passengers or luggage during the incident.
"Only the bus driver was in the bus at the time of the incident," they reported, adding that no injuries resulted from the fire.
Authorities will conduct an examination of the vehicle to determine what triggered the fire.
Delhi airport features three terminals and four runways with capacity to handle over 100 million passengers annually.
Terminal 3, recognized as one of the world's largest terminals, was inaugurated in 2010 with capacity to accommodate up to 40 million passengers yearly.
The terminal serves both international and domestic flights, with arrivals processed on the lower level and departures on the upper level.
Just last week, the airport began operations at its newly refurbished Terminal 2 (T2).
