Adani Airports Holdings Adds Digital Solutions To Enhance Fliers' Experience

Adani Enterprises' subsidiary Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL) on Wednesday announced a suite of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing passengers' travel experience across its airports.

Currently, the conglomerate manages and operates seven airports across India.

Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, unveiled on Wednesday a comprehensive suite of digital initiatives designed to elevate passenger travel experiences throughout its airport network.
This digital rollout precedes the upcoming inauguration of the Adani Group-owned Navi Mumbai International Airport, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate later this month.
The group currently operates seven airports across India - Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Mangalore, Thiruannathapuram, Guwahati, Jaipur and Lucknow.
According to AAHL, its digital transformation strategy centers around three proprietary smart airport operation platforms - aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport in a Box - each engineered to serve both stakeholders and travelers efficiently.
The company is developing transportation hubs that incorporate green design principles and provide seamless connections to road, rail, and metro networks, fostering both global connectivity and regional economic development.
The aviio platform provides support to airport operators, airlines, security agencies, ground handlers, and service providers by optimizing operational workflows.
This solution delivers critical information in real-time, streamlines operational processes, and enhances cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth airport operations, the private airport operator explained.
It addresses major information silos currently prevalent in the aviation industry by democratizing data and making it accessible across partner ecosystems, including airlines, regulatory authorities, and concessionaires, AAHL stated.
The platform is specifically engineered to reduce travel-related anxiety, enabling passengers to plan and enjoy their journey with greater confidence.
Meanwhile, the Adani OneAPP functions as a comprehensive travel companion that consolidates all airport services into a single, intuitive digital platform.
Through this application, travelers can access India's first airport-specific loyalty program - Adani Rewards - covering F&B, retail, duty-free, parking, and meet-and-greet services, pre-book lounges, and verify card eligibility.
Users can browse and purchase from an extensive selection of F&B and retail offerings, with convenient services such as boarding gate delivery, multi-cart ordering, and group duty-free purchases, while also navigating the airport with real-time flight tracking, instant notifications, seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and 'park and fly' facilities.
Since its introduction, AAHL reported that the platform has incorporated over 1,200 key performance indicators and 60 features, making comprehensive data available to passengers across all airports.
The Airport in a Box platform serves as a comprehensive solution supporting airport development through advanced infrastructure and technology integration, focusing on establishing a robust framework for current operations while enabling future scalability.
This initiative aims to future-proof infrastructure through investments that ensure scalability and readiness for incorporating new airports, AAHL explained, adding that by facilitating plug-and-play systems and implementing digital twins, capacity expansions are now seamlessly integrated into digital-native operations rather than treated as isolated projects.
By implementing aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport in a Box across its network, AAHL stated it is establishing a new standard for India's aviation sector - transforming airports into lifestyle destinations, economic hubs, and digital-first gateways that reflect India's growing global prominence.
