Former Bigg Boss Kannada Contestant Divya Suresh Identified as Driver in Bengaluru Hit-and-Run Accident

Following a late-night hit-and-run incident in Bengaluru several weeks ago, the city traffic police identified former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Divya Suresh on Friday as the alleged driver of the vehicle involved in the accident that injured three individuals.

The collision occurred near Nithya Hotel in Byatarayanapura at approximately 1:30 am on October 4.

A formal FIR was registered on October 7 after Kiran G, who was riding the two-wheeler that was struck, filed a complaint.

Kiran, traveling with his cousins Anusha and Anitha, claimed that a speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle before fleeing the location.

Kiran and Anusha suffered minor injuries, while Anitha experienced a leg fracture requiring surgical intervention at BGS Hospital.

The Kannada actress was subsequently identified through surveillance footage.

Initially, the vehicle was documented as unidentified with a female driver.

Authorities later tracked the automobile using CCTV recordings from surrounding areas and confirmed its ownership to Divya Suresh.

Dr. Anoop Shetty, DCP traffic West, confirmed that they have confiscated the vehicle involved in the incident and stated that the investigation continues.
