Tragic Aftermath: Mumbai Man Dies After Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend in Fatal Jealousy Attack

In a tragic incident in Mumbai on Friday, a 24-year-old man named Sonu Barai stabbed his former girlfriend Manisha Yadav before attacking himself. Barai succumbed to his injuries while Yadav sustained wounds but survived.

The violent attack stemmed from Barai's unfounded suspicions about Yadav's fidelity, as he believed she was involved in another relationship.

Police sources revealed to NDTV that the couple had terminated their relationship just eight days prior to the incident. Throughout their relationship, Barai had repeatedly questioned Yadav's loyalty and accused her of infidelity.

On the morning of the incident, Barai informed his mother he was stepping out. Before leaving, he secretly took a kitchen knife from his residence.

He subsequently arranged to meet Yadav at a local nursing home, requesting a final encounter. During their meeting, an argument erupted, culminating in Barai stabbing Yadav in a fit of rage.

Following the attack on Yadav, Barai turned the knife on himself. Images from the scene depicted Barai lying unconscious and covered in blood at the nursing home entrance, with blood splattered across the area.

Barai later died from the self-inflicted injuries.
