Rajasthan Government Schools Shine After Diwali Beautification

The Rajasthan government has implemented a remarkable school beautification and transformation campaign across the state. Under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma's leadership, this initiative has created a historic milestone in the state's educational landscape.

In an unprecedented achievement, 91.7 percent of government schools throughout Rajasthan have received fresh paint and aesthetic enhancements. For the first time, these educational institutions displayed uniform colors and illumination during the Diwali festival. The lighting arrangements were conducted across all state schools from October 18 to 23.

The campaign's objective was to complete painting and renovation work in all government educational institutions prior to Diwali celebrations. A standardized color scheme was established for different educational levels - primary, upper primary, and higher secondary schools.

According to the officially approved color palette, primary and upper primary institutions were decorated with light coral room shade complemented by darker copper accents. Higher secondary schools featured a light coral beach shade paired with darker copper tones.

Comprehensive guidelines for this initiative were issued under the School Education Secretary's directives and the secondary education director's supervision. To facilitate effective oversight, officials established a central control room within the Directorate's Building Section for real-time monitoring and daily progress assessment.

Balotra and Bharatpur districts have successfully achieved 100 percent completion of the campaign targets. Other districts are approaching full completion, with remaining painting work scheduled to be finished by November 5.

The success of this transformation campaign was significantly enhanced through community engagement, with school management committees and local representatives providing voluntary support to beautify educational institutions across Rajasthan.
