Fatal Fire at Raheja Residency in Navi Mumbai Claims Four Lives and Injures Ten

Four individuals lost their lives and ten others sustained injuries when a fire erupted in a multi-storey residential building in Navi Mumbai township, Maharashtra, shortly after midnight on Tuesday, according to police reports.
Initial investigations suggest the blaze ignited around 12:30 am in an apartment on the 10th floor of the Raheja Residency in MGM Complex, located in Sector 14 of the Vashi area, before spreading to the 11th and 12th floors, an official stated.
Among the fatalities were two women, one man, and a 6-year-old girl, while ten others were wounded in the incident.
The injured individuals were promptly transported to two hospitals in Vashi for treatment.
Upon receiving the alert, 40 firefighters with 8 fire engines, along with police personnel, rushed to the scene. The fire was successfully extinguished by 4 am, the official confirmed.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire, according to the official statement.
