17-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped By Minor Classmate While Traveling To Coaching Institute in Uttar Pradesh

Police in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh have registered a case against a 16-year-old boy for allegedly kidnapping his 17-year-old female classmate who disappeared while traveling to their coaching institute on October 11. The girl's grandmother, who filed the complaint, has raised concerns about possible religious conversion. Both teenagers remain missing as authorities continue their investigation.

In Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, authorities have registered a case against a 16-year-old boy for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old female classmate, police officials confirmed on Monday.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on October 11 when the teenage girl, a resident of a village in Ballia district, was traveling to her coaching class. She was reportedly abducted by the minor boy who lives in another village within the same Bairia police station jurisdiction.

Circle Officer Mohammad Fahim Quraishi of Bairia stated that the case was officially registered on Sunday under the relevant sections of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita). The complaint was filed by the girl's grandmother.

The complainant has expressed concerns that the accused might attempt to convert the girl's religion, adding another dimension to the case.

Police officials confirmed that both teenagers were enrolled at the same coaching institute and are currently missing. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter and are working to locate both minors.
