Police reported that school authorities have rejected the allegations made by the child's family.
In Malappuram, a concerning incident occurred where a five-year-old boy was reportedly denied access to his school bus due to unpaid bus fees, according to police statements released Saturday.
The incident took place on Thursday, with the child's family filing a complaint to authorities the same day.
Officials at the Thenjipalam police station requested both the family and school representatives to meet and discuss the situation. However, the family was unable to attend as they were not in the vicinity.
The child's relatives indicated they could come on Saturday, but this proved problematic as the school remains closed on weekends, making school officials unavailable for discussion.
A police officer stated, "As a result, both parties have been asked to come on Monday to resolve the matter."
Police officials further noted that school authorities have categorically denied the allegations brought forward by the child's family.
