The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its third list containing 28 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections on Saturday, further strengthening its electoral preparation for this crucial political contest.

Notable candidates in the third list include Shashi Bhushan Tiwari contesting from Lauriya, Arjun Kumar Sinha from Bettiah, Gaysaudin Samaini from Sugauli, and Ranjan Kumar from Samastipur, among others.

Previously on Tuesday, AAP had unveiled its second list featuring 48 candidates. That list included Prem Prapt Singh for the Chapra constituency, Rajendra Prasad Singh for Lalganj, Aditya Lal for Purnia, and Inderjeet Jyotikar for Hathua.

The party had earlier announced its first list comprising 11 candidates.

Meanwhile, CPI(ML), a member of the Mahagathbandhan alliance, also announced 20 candidates on Saturday.

Earlier on October 16, Janata Dal (United) had released its second list of 44 candidates, featuring several established leaders, incumbent MLAs, and fresh faces from diverse professional and social backgrounds, demonstrating the party's strategy to balance experience with new talent.

With this second list release, JD(U) has intensified its election campaign activities across Bihar.

In its official statement, the party congratulated all candidates and mentioned that the list was formulated with the objective of promoting inclusive development under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership.

Key figures in the JD(U) list include Dhirendra Pratap Singh alias Rinku Singh from Valmikinagar, Leshi Singh from Dhamdaha, Jayant Raj from Amarpur, Mahabali Singh from Karakat, and Sumit Kumar Singh from Chakai.

Other prominent candidates include Samridh Verma (Sikta), Shweta Gupta (Sheohar), Pankaj Mishra (Runnisaidpur), Sudhanshu Shekhar (Harlakhi), Meena Kamat (Babubarhi), Sheela Mandal (Phulparas), Satish Sah (Laukaha), Aniruddh Prasad Yadav (Nirmali), Vijendra Prasad Yadav (Supaul), Bulo Mandal (Gopalpur), Lalit Narayan Mandal (Sultanganj), Manorama Devi (Belaganj), Chetan Anand (Navinagar), and Vibha Devi (Nawada).

Bihar is set for polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results to be announced on November 14. The nomination filing deadline for the first phase is October 17.
