Chirag Paswan Predicts Historic NDA Victory in Bihar Assembly Elections 2025

Chirag Paswan, leader of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), affirms that the NDA remains united ahead of Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November 6 and 11. Dismissing reports of internal conflicts, he expressed confidence in achieving a historic victory under Nitish Kumar's leadership when results are announced on November 14. His party will contest 29 seats as part of the NDA alliance, with seat-sharing arrangements finalized among all coalition partners.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest on 29 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

With the Bihar Assembly elections approaching, Chirag Paswan, who leads the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), has emphasized that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar remains unified and well-coordinated. He dismissed reports suggesting internal conflicts within the alliance. Paswan characterized the opposition Mahagathbandhan as a disorganized coalition while reiterating his support for Nitish Kumar's leadership. He expressed confidence that the NDA would achieve a "historic victory" when results are announced on November 14.

The Bihar elections 2025 are scheduled for November 6 and 11, with vote counting and results declaration set for November 14.

In a statement to ANI, Paswan remarked, "Despite the confusion being circulated about the NDA, I have consistently maintained that all matters would be resolved smoothly within our alliance, whether regarding seat allocation or candidate selection. The Mahagathbandhan is clearly a confused alliance. I confidently state that the NDA alliance is moving toward a historic victory."

"We are contesting these elections under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership. I have not experienced even the slightest disagreement with any other constituent party. We will truly celebrate Diwali on November 14," he further added.

The NDA has completed its seat-sharing arrangement for the Bihar Assembly elections, with the BJP and Janata Dal (United) each contesting 101 constituencies. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) have been allocated six seats each, while Union Minister Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29 seats.

Previously, Paswan announced his party's first list of 14 candidates from the 29 seats allocated to them in the NDA's final seat distribution for the Bihar Assembly elections.

According to the announced list, the party has nominated Raju Tiwari for Govindganj, Sanjay Kumar Singh for Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Vishnu Dev Paswan for Darouli, Seemant Mrinal for Garkha, Surendra Kumar for Sahebpur Kamal, Sanjay Kumar for Bakhri, and Babulal Shaurya for Parbatta.

Mithun Kumar will contest from Nathnagar, Sunil Kumar from Paliganj, Hulas Pandey from Brahmpur, Rajiv Ranjan Singh from Dehri, Sangita Devi from Balrampur, Rani Kumari from Makhdumpur, and Prakash Chandra from Obra, according to the party's announcement.
