The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the final results for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination (RAS) 2023, with candidates from Ajmer and Nagaur districts claiming dominant positions.

Among the top 10 achievers, three candidates each from Ajmer and Nagaur districts secured places, with all three top ranks going to Ajmer district representatives. The remaining top positions were filled by candidates from Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh, and Bikaner districts.

Kushal Chaudhary, who secured the first rank in RAS-2023, comes from Dungaria Kalan village in Ajmer. Currently employed as a laboratory assistant at a government school in Tabiji, he resides in police line quarters. Kushal attributed his success to self-study, stating, "My father is a farmer. I studied on my own and succeeded on my second attempt."

Securing the tenth position, Vikas Siyag from Kolayat, Bikaner, works as a junior assistant at the Government Senior Secondary School in Ranjitpura under the Education Department. This was his second attempt at the examination.

Vikas shared his journey: "I cleared the RAS 2021 prelims but could not pass the mains. After that, I gave my 100 percent for the 2023 exam. I was confident this time to crack the exam, and my hard work has finally paid off."

Coming from a modest background, Vikas's father Nathuram Siyag works as a truck driver and farmer, while his mother Pappu Devi is a homemaker. "I dedicate my success to my parents, whose sacrifices made this achievement possible," Vikas expressed.

The RPSC completed interviews for 2,188 candidates on October 14, with final results announced on Wednesday night, October 15. The recruitment drive, which was initiated on June 28, 2023, will lead to the appointment of 972 new officers across Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma congratulated the successful candidates, saying, "The youth have reaped the rewards of their hard work and dedication. They will play a key role in the state's development. The government is committed to providing timely and transparent employment opportunities to the youth."
