Gangster Wife Shot Dead by Husband Over Passport Dispute, 11-Year-Old Daughter Witnesses Murder

Both Vikas and his wife, Ruby, are documented in police records as gangsters.

A tragic incident unfolded in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, where a man fatally shot his wife following a dispute over a passport, with their 11-year-old daughter witnessing the horrific act. Crime scene photographs reveal the woman's lifeless body on the kitchen floor. Police are currently investigating the case and searching for the husband, Vikas, who escaped after the shooting. Law enforcement confirmed that both Vikas and Ruby were officially listed as gangsters in police records.

The conflict began this morning when Vikas demanded his passport from Ruby, which sparked a heated argument between the criminal couple. In a fit of rage, Vikas shot Ruby dead before fleeing the scene. Their young daughter was present at home during the incident, while their other daughter was attending school.

By the time authorities arrived and transported Ruby to medical facilities, she had already succumbed to her injuries.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the gangster couple had relocated to Ajnara Integrity, a high-rise residential complex in Ghaziabad, approximately one year ago. They resided on the ninth floor of Tower F.

According to police reports, the couple engaged in frequent arguments. Investigators discovered that Vikas would often be absent from home for extended periods spanning months. His unemployment was a significant source of recurring conflicts between the couple.

Ruby's brother was murdered in 2019. She had multiple pending legal cases against her, resulting in her registration as a gangster with the Modinagar police station since 2020. Vikas, originally from Meerut, also lived in Modinagar and was similarly registered as a gangster in that jurisdiction.

Authorities have sent Ruby's remains for post-mortem examination and continue their search for Vikas.
