Police reported that a seven-year-old female student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 35-year-old man within her school premises in Jaipur on Saturday.

According to authorities, the suspect infiltrated the private educational institution and concealed himself in a restroom where he subsequently attacked the young victim. Following the traumatic incident, the child informed her teacher about what had occurred, prompting immediate notification of both her parents and law enforcement.

The Station House Officer of Gandhi Nagar police station stated that local residents observed the suspect escaping by scaling the school's boundary wall, which led to his detention.

Officials confirmed that the accused individual subsequently confessed to the crime during questioning and was formally arrested on Sunday.
