New Delhi:

A dinner menu from the Indian Air Force's 93rd anniversary celebrations has captured widespread attention on social media - not for the culinary offerings themselves, but for their symbolic significance. The menu, which began circulating widely on Wednesday evening, appears to have been featured at one of the Air Force Day commemorative events.

What makes this menu remarkable is that every dish has been named after specific locations that were targets during Operation Sindoor. This military operation, launched on May 7, struck nine terrorist camps deep within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Displayed beneath the official IAF crest, the menu presents:

While not officially confirmed, the themed menu coincided with the Air Force's annual celebration marking its establishment on October 8, 1932.

Operation Sindoor Targets included:

Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur - the ideological and operational center of the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization.

Markaz Taiba, Muridke - a massive 200-acre Lashkar-e-Taiba facility, considered one of the most fortified locations struck during the operation.

Markaz Abbas, Kotli - a significant JeM training facility and weapons distribution center.

Syedna Bilal and Shawai Nalla camps, Muzaffarabad - infiltration points utilized by terrorist sleeper cells.

Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala - a regional supply hub for LeT operatives.

Sarjal and Tehra Kalan, in PoK - pre-infiltration camps where newly recruited terrorists received training.

These strikes were executed with precision by the Indian Air Force using advanced indigenous platforms, coordinated through the Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS).

At the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh described Operation Sindoor as a "moment of immense pride" for the nation.

Highlighting the Air Force's history from its inception in 1932 to its present capabilities, Air Chief Marshal Singh recounted key achievements across decades of military operations from 1947 through 2025.

"In 1947, we safeguarded Kashmir. In 1965, we struck from the skies. In 1971, we contributed to the creation of a new country. In 1999, we displayed courage in Kargil. In 2019, we eliminated terrorists in Balakot. And this year, we achieved victory over the enemy in Operation Sindoor in just four days. The Indian Air Force has demonstrated capability and valour in every era, upholding the nation's glory," he stated.
