Bhojpuri Actor Pawan Singh and Wife Jyoti Singh Clash Over Political Ambitions Amid Bihar Elections 2025

The conflict between Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh has resurfaced amid the Bihar Elections 2025. Jyoti Singh has now responded to her husband's claims, firmly stating she would run for office independently if she chooses to do so.

Their marital discord has attracted significant public attention as the Bihar assembly election approaches.

Jyoti Singh, Pawan Singh's second wife, previously accused him of unfaithfulness. As election day draws nearer, tensions have escalated regarding their political aspirations.

Pawan Singh has claimed that his wife is exerting pressure on him to secure an election ticket for her.

In an interview with NDTV today, Jyoti Singh emphasized that she has made extensive preparations and may contest the election based on her own merit, independent of Pawan Singh's political campaign.

"I supported him extensively during the previous election, walking the constituency until my footwear wore out... If I decide to contest, it will be my decision. I've invested significant effort, and the constituents recognize that," she explained.

She also mentioned that she simply wanted to meet with her husband today but was denied access.

Pawan Singh, who was quickly removed from the BJP last year due to his controversial reputation, has rejoined the party ahead of the Bihar elections scheduled to begin on November 6.

Following multiple meetings between Singh and senior BJP officials, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, reports suggest the party may nominate him for the Arrah assembly constituency.

Previously, Pawan Singh posted a detailed statement in Hindi accusing Jyoti of using their relationship for political advantage.

"In my life, I recognize only one truth: the public is my deity. Would I ever disrespect the sentiments of those who have supported my journey? Jyoti Singh ji, isn't it true that when you visited my neighborhood yesterday morning, I respectfully welcomed you into my home where we conversed for approximately 1:30 hours?" he questioned.

Jyoti Singh attempted to meet her husband at his Lucknow residence today, but police prevented her entry.
