Priyanka Gandhi Encounters Cow Named "Alia Bhatt" While Addressing Dairy Farmer Challenges in Kerala

During her visit to a dairy farm in Kerala, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra encountered an unexpected namesake - a cow named Alia Bhatt.

On Tuesday, the Wayanad MP shared an engaging social media post featuring a video of herself interacting with cows at a dairy farm in Kerala's Thiruvambady. In her lighthearted message, she wrote, "Met a group of dairy farmers at a dairy farm run by the loveliest family (and even encountered a cow named Alia Bhatt!!, due apologies to Ms.Bhatt @aliaa08, but she was really a cutie pie!)."

Beyond the humorous encounter, Gandhi's post took a more serious turn as she highlighted critical challenges facing dairy farmers in the region. She noted that many farmers are struggling with financial difficulties that make it increasingly hard to sustain their operations.

The Congress leader stated her intention to address these issues formally, saying, "I intend to write to the concerned ministry to apprise them of the many issues they face including the increased cost of veterinary medicines, lack of adequate insurance coverage and difficulty in accessing good quality cattle feed."
