Police discovered a 20-year-old Delhi student hanging in his paying guest accommodation in Kota on Wednesday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Lokendra Paliwal, the incident was reported Wednesday evening from Sector 2 in the Vigyan Nagar police station jurisdiction. Officers responded to the scene and transported the body to a mortuary, where an autopsy will be performed after the arrival of the deceased's family members.

The deceased has been identified as Lucky Choudhary, based on documents found in the PG room. Choudhary had previously studied at a local coaching institute last year, though his current enrollment status remains unconfirmed, the DSP told PTI.

Police had to force entry into the room, which Choudhary had locked from inside. Authorities have not yet determined the exact reason for Choudhary taking this extreme step, the officer stated.
