Elderly Woman Brutally Attacked by Hyderabad Police Constable's Family Over Dog Urination Dispute

CCTV footage captured the moment when one of the women began slapping and punching 60-year-old Suvarna on her face and head.

A disturbing incident unfolded in Hyderabad where a 60-year-old woman was violently assaulted by the wife and sister of a police constable following a disagreement about the constable's dog urinating near her residence.

The confrontation took place at approximately 11:15 am on Tuesday and was entirely documented by surveillance cameras, resulting in charges being filed against the constable's family members.

The victim, Suvarna, had approached Constable Chandrakant to express her concerns about his dog relieving itself near her property. When she questioned why he allowed his pet to defecate or urinate in front of her home, a verbal dispute erupted between them.

According to the filed complaint, the constable proceeded to summon his wife and sister to the location, who promptly arrived and physically attacked the elderly woman.

Security footage from the area reveals one woman delivering multiple slaps and punches to Suvarna's face and head. The attacker then seized a stick from the constable and struck the elderly victim repeatedly. Shortly thereafter, a second woman joined the assault and continued the violent attack.

The video evidence also shows several bystanders witnessing the incident but failing to step in or halt the attack on the elderly woman.

Inspector P Anjaneyulu has confirmed that authorities have registered a case based on the elderly woman's complaint and the corresponding CCTV evidence.
