Tragic Murder-Suicide in Bengaluru: Dubai Returnee Kills Wife Before Taking His Own Life

A tragic incident unfolded in Bengaluru on Sunday when a 30-year-old man, recently returned from Dubai, allegedly murdered his wife before taking his own life.

Dharmshilam, who had been employed as a mason in Dubai, reportedly killed his 27-year-old wife Manju, who worked as a nurse at a private hospital in Bengaluru. The couple, who had married in September 2022 and had no children, were residing with Manju's father Periyaswamy in a rented accommodation.

The devastating discovery was made by Periyaswamy around 9:30 pm on Sunday evening. He found Manju lying on the bed with multiple stab wounds, while Dharmashilam was found hanging from a ceiling fan with a nylon rope.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the case and are currently working to establish the motive behind this apparent murder-suicide. Police officials have not yet released any information regarding potential domestic issues or other factors that might have contributed to this tragic event.
