Zubeen Garg, a renowned figure in Assam's cultural landscape, tragically passed away on September 19 while swimming in the sea in Singapore.

The industrialist and his son spent approximately thirty minutes at Garg's home in the Kahilipara area of Guwahati, where they met with the late singer's wife, Garima Saikia Garg.

According to an official who spoke to PTI, Adani arrived at the residence around 9 pm accompanied by several senior officials from the Adani Group. The delegation offered floral tributes to honor the memory of the acclaimed artist.

"Gautam Adani and his son Jeet came to offer their condolences to the icon of Assam. They sat with Garima for some time and expressed grief over the untimely demise of the singer," the official stated.

The visit underscores the significant impact Zubeen Garg had as a cultural figure in Assam and beyond.
