Indore Man Assaults Ex-Girlfriend With Scooter After Failed Reconciliation Attempt: Police Launch Manhunt

Police investigations have confirmed that the perpetrator has a history of criminal activity.

In a disturbing incident in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a man deliberately crashed his scooter into his former girlfriend after she declined to resume their relationship. The violent confrontation occurred on Thursday evening in the Kalpana Nagar area.

Police reports indicate that the young woman had previously terminated her relationship with the accused. Despite this, the man had reportedly been making threats and attempting to force her to reconcile. When she continued to refuse his advances, his behavior escalated to violence.

According to witnesses and initial police findings, the man was riding an Activa scooter at high speed when he intentionally targeted the victim as she walked along the road. In a defensive move, the woman threw a stone at her attacker. This action further enraged the man, who accelerated his vehicle and deliberately struck her before quickly leaving the scene.

The victim suffered injuries from the attack and subsequently filed a formal complaint at Hiranagar Police Station.

Based on her statement, authorities have registered multiple charges against the accused, including assault, intimidation, and intentional harm. Further investigation has revealed that the man is a repeat offender with seven previous criminal cases filed against him at various police stations.

A senior police official from Hiranagar stated, "We have identified the accused and confirmed his criminal background. A manhunt has been launched, and he will be arrested soon."
